My computer is running Windows XP Service Pack 3, and has 3.00 GHz CPU and 2.99 GHz, 3.50 GB's of RAM. After this I went online and looked up how to uninstall manually.

When I tried, no CPU was used in the process, so I decided to force quit it. (The only CPU usage was for the task manager itself.) After about an hour of this I decided that I should just cancel the uninstall.

When I looked on the task manager, it showed that no CPU was being used. I tried using Add/Remove Programs, but towards the end of configuring the program it stopped. OK I had to edit Communications Policy and make new Policy with old 12.1 SEP Clients and go back to HTTP 8014 port even if I have XP with TLS enabled and previous SEPM listened to HTTPS 443 to SEP 12.1 with no problems.I currently can't uninstall the program 'Symantec Endpoint Protection' from my computer. SEP in WinXP updates ok today with LiveUpdate There will be no new 12.x definitions after May 17th 2021 and these clients will no longer update after this date via any means.įirst thing I notice is that old WinXP 12.1 SEP are not recognized anymore by this last SEPM version but I can still Add Package. English is OK with very old definition from 2017 and no Red Bar in SEP main window.
